About Delta

Originally a railroad switch called Aiken, the town was renamed several times before becoming Delta on May 11, 1911, named for its location on a delta of the Sevier River ¹. The Sevier River flows near Delta and is generally used for irrigation before it reaches its eventual end, the dry Sevier Lake ¹. Agriculture is a major economic force in Delta and the Sevier valley, with alfalfa hay as the main crop ¹.

Housing and Schools

Listings appear in Millard County school district, with properties in subdivisions including Notch Peak Business Park, Allred, Topaz Townhomes, Myers Legacy Estates Subdivision Phase 2, and Birch Drive Sub ⁴.
