Riverton shares borders with South Jordan to the north, Draper to the east, Bluffdale to the south, and Herriman to the west. 1 The city has a total area of 12.6 square miles and is located about twenty miles south and slightly west of Salt Lake City. 1 Riverton provides access to Bangerter Highway, Mountain View Corridor, and Redwood Road, and is accessible from Interstate 15 via the 12300 S or Bangerter Highway exits. 1
